Time to Shine! The Joseph Anointing and Never Give Up

🔹 Refined Through Fire: Rising Above the Enemy’s Attacks
In your walk with Christ, you may encounter unexpected trials and spiritual resistance — not because you’re doing something wrong, but because you’re becoming a threat to the enemy’s agenda. As you grow in faith and pursue your divine calling, the enemy often intensifies his efforts to delay, distract, or derail your Kingdom impact.
But take heart: if you remain steadfast, cultivate resilience, and stay intimately connected to Jesus, you won’t just survive — you’ll emerge refined and radiant, like a diamond forged under pressure.
⚔️ God’s Chosen Are Attacked
When you have a genuine heart for the Lord — not just surface-level religion, but a deep, burning desire to live fully for Him — you are marked as Chosen for a special purpose. I’m not referring to the “cookie-cutter Christian” who checks in on Sundays and blends in with the world. I’m talking about the believer who looks at this world’s broken systems, the spiritual matrix of deception and compromise, and boldly declares:
“I want to live a life for Jesus that shakes foundations and flips tables.”
This kind of devotion doesn’t go unnoticed in the spirit realm. It threatens darkness, challenges the status quo, and provokes opposition. But it also carries Kingdom authority.
📖 Matthew 21:12-13 (NIV)
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
👀 My Hidden Impact
At first glance, you might visit this blog and wonder, “Is it really a good idea to mix IT with Christianity?” Maybe you’re thinking, “Won’t this just turn people off or push them away?”
But here’s the truth: when you follow God’s leading — even in unconventional spaces — the impact often runs deeper than what’s visible. So don’t just judge by appearances. Stick around. Explore. And see for yourself what happens when faith meets innovation with boldness.

🌍 The Reach Is Real — And Growing
In just the last 28 days, this site has reached over 600+ people — and around 60% outside the U.S. That’s in just one month. Now imagine what could happen if this continues over the next 5, 10, or even 20 years. I haven’t even gone into video channel content yet.
I’ve been building and running this website since 2016 — completely self-taught, learning SEO and web development along the way. Not a single person guided me in-person. I’m not an expert but I know my way around WordPress and domains now. I’m a disciple with a vision.
I’ve lost money on this project. I’ve earned nothing from it financially. But that’s exactly what I believe reflects the mindset of a Chosen One — someone who serves the Lord not for applause or income, but out of obedience and sacrifice.
📖 Matthew 6:19-20 (NIV)
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
This isn’t about worldly gain. It’s about eternal impact.
The Joseph Anointing
🔹 Joseph’s Dream and His Brothers’ Jealousy
Joseph was 17 years old and deeply loved by his father Jacob (Israel), who gave him a coat of many colors — a symbol of favor. This favoritism already caused tension among his older brothers.
✅ The First Dream – Genesis 37:5-8
Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.”
His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.
- 🔍 Interpretation: Joseph’s dream implied he would one day rule over his brothers.
- 🔥 Reaction: It fueled their hatred and jealousy, which were already simmering.
“The Joseph Anointing” is a concept often used in Christian teaching and preaching that refers to a special anointing or blessing that brings favor, provision, breakthrough, and leadership, similar to what the biblical Joseph experienced.
In the Bible, Joseph (son of Jacob) went through intense trials — betrayal by his brothers, slavery, imprisonment — but he was divinely anointed to rise above those challenges. God gave him wisdom, favor, and supernatural insight, which eventually positioned him as a powerful leader in Egypt, saving many lives during a famine.
Key themes of the Joseph Anointing include:
- Divine Favor: Like Joseph, believers receive God’s favor even in difficult circumstances.
- Supernatural Wisdom: God gives insight to manage challenges and govern wisely.
- Provision and Breakthrough: Anointing brings breakthroughs in finances, relationships, or purpose.
- Leadership and Influence: Joseph was promoted to a high position of authority; the anointing positions believers for leadership.
- Overcoming Adversity: Despite setbacks, the anointing sustains and elevates.
- Purpose Fulfillment: Joseph’s suffering was part of God’s plan to save nations, showing God’s hand in one’s destiny.
🔥 When Passion Provokes Opposition
When I first began my walk with Christ, I was completely on fire for God. I poured myself into serving — attending church regularly, volunteering at countless events and ministries — so many that I lost track. My heart was sincere, and my passion was real.
But in the midst of that, I began to feel something unexpected: resistance. Not from the outside world — but from within the very places I was serving. I encountered moments of hatred, jealousy, and rejection, often from people I thought were supposed to walk beside me in faith, some I loved and cherished, myself being treated like dirt by them.
At first, it confused me. But over time, I came to understand:
This wasn’t just human behavior — it was spiritual warfare. The enemy doesn’t always show up in obvious ways. Many times, he works through people — especially when you’re doing something impactful for God’s Kingdom.
The more you carry, the more you’re targeted.
This is one of the ways Satan tries to discourage, isolate, or shut down God’s chosen ones — by stirring strife, envy, and opposition even in sacred spaces.
👑 How the Enemy Works Through People to Attack God’s Anointed
When God places an anointing on someone’s life — for leadership, ministry, influence, or divine purpose — it attracts spiritual opposition. Often, the enemy (Satan) doesn’t attack directly but works through people to wound, discredit, or isolate those who carry God’s favor.
Below are common tactics the enemy uses through people — some subtle, some openly hostile — but all with the same goal: to destroy character, disrupt calling, and drain spiritual strength.
🗣️ Gossip
Definition: Speaking about someone behind their back, often to spread negative, harmful, or private information.
- Spiritual impact: Gossip opens the door to disunity, suspicion, and character assassination. It thrives in silence and secrecy.
- Biblical warning: “A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.” – Proverbs 16:28
- How it’s used: To slowly erode someone’s reputation, causing others to doubt or distance themselves from the anointed person.
🧾 Lies and False Accusations
Definition: Intentionally spreading misinformation or framing someone falsely to harm their reputation.
- Spiritual impact: Lies work as weapons of confusion and manipulation. They provoke distrust and often create a crisis where none existed.
- Biblical example: Jesus Himself was falsely accused by religious leaders to justify His crucifixion (Matthew 26:59–60).
- How it’s used: To destroy credibility, undermine leadership, or cause someone to be rejected by others.
📣 Smear Campaigns
Definition: A coordinated effort to publicly discredit someone by spreading negative rumors, lies, or half-truths.
- Purpose: To damage a person’s public image or influence, often out of jealousy, fear, or to remove them from a position of authority.
- How it works:
- Involves multiple people, often orchestrated behind the scenes.
- Uses social influence, media, or whisper networks to spread slander.
- Includes twisting facts, exaggerating mistakes, or associating someone with wrongdoing they did not commit.
- Spiritual root: A spirit of slander and manipulation, often working through people threatened by your anointing or influence.
🧿 Witchcraft: Evil Eye
Definition: In occult and folk traditions, the evil eye is a curse or harmful spiritual energy sent through a jealous or hateful glare — often unspoken — believed to bring misfortune or oppression to the recipient.
- Biblical perspective: While the Bible doesn’t use the phrase “evil eye” in this way, it condemns all forms of witchcraft, sorcery, and occult influence (Galatians 5:19–21, Deuteronomy 18:10–12).
- How it manifests spiritually:
- Spiritual heaviness, confusion, unexplained setbacks.
- Jealousy-fueled attacks on one’s health, finances, or relationships.
- It may come from people silently resenting your blessings or speaking curses over you out of envy.
🕵️♂️ Gang Stalking and Spying
Definition: A pattern of coordinated surveillance, harassment, and monitoring of a person, often psychological and social in nature.
- Spiritual interpretation: Though “gang stalking” is a modern term, biblically, similar tactics were used by enemies to watch and trap God’s people (e.g., Daniel 6:4-5; Nehemiah 4:11).
- How it’s used:
- People are assigned or influenced to follow, observe, or interfere with someone’s life and activities.
- It creates paranoia, intimidation, and mental exhaustion — tools to wear down someone spiritually.
- Goal: To isolate, discredit, and mentally exhaust the person God is using, so they retreat or break down.
These tactics are not just random — they are strategically demonic and often escalate the more you walk in obedience and favor with God. But remember:
📖 Matthew 5:11 (NIV)
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
😊 I’ve Been Enjoying Life Too Much — And That’s a Problem (for the Enemy)
There were times in my walk when I could sense something was off. People I’d never even spoken to would give me strange stares — like they had already made up their minds about me. It was the kind of look you’d expect if someone believed I had:
Accidentally run over the neighborhood’s beloved dog.
That’s how intense and unexplainable the negativity felt. I realized pretty quickly: being in large groups of believers who don’t truly know you can be dangerous — not because they’re bad people, but because the enemy can twist perceptions, plant seeds of gossip, and use assumptions to isolate God’s anointed.
So I chose a different path. I leaned into my quiet season, building in the shadows — growing spiritually, professionally, and emotionally. And now? I feel like a kid in a candy store. Why?
- I’m thriving in my field.
- I have a job I truly love, making more than I ever have.
- I’m walking in purpose, not chasing distractions.
- I have peace — no drama, no addictions, no unhealthy ties.
- I’ve got a clean record, no health issues, and a clear mind.
And none of this is my doing — this is all the Lord’s favor.
But that’s exactly why the enemy doesn’t want people to get too close to me.
He knows that if hurting or searching people got around someone walking in peace, purity, and purpose — someone who could actually help them grow — they’d start breaking free too. And that’s the last thing darkness wants.
📖 Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
✅ Conclusion
Sometimes, God hides His anointed — not to punish them, but to protect and prepare them. While the enemy works overtime to isolate, discourage, or discredit, God is quietly building something unshakable inside of you.
If you’ve been misunderstood, overlooked, or wrongly judged, take heart: you’re not forgotten — you’re being forged. And when the time is right, the impact of your obedience, purity, and quiet faithfulness will speak louder than any lie ever could.
You weren’t called to blend in.
You were called to shine — even if it’s behind the scenes for a while.
🌿 Final Thoughts
The future is bright and I am ready to shine. To the place of sunshine I go, may I be welcomed there in the light to come.
